K-Doubles Take: Daniel Bryan's retirement...

A few weeks ago a man i admire took to the wrestling ring to announce something that i didn't want to hear. It was the amazing Daniel Bryan and he was announcing his retirement from in ring competition effective immediately. This saddened me and even made me shed a tear because i had got to watch Bryan in the best part of his career. A couple of years ago at Wrestlemania 30 we had the big moment we had been waiting for. I think they built him up as a babyface for what felt like forever. I remember complaining about the fact that it felt like they were never going to give him the belt. They finally did and as soon as they did he had to drop it because of injury….

Then he came back and was able to be thrust immediately into the IC Title picture and put the strap on him. We got a series of great matches against some of the WWE’s top talent at the time. This cemented Bryan’s legacy and showed the world he could really roll with the best of them. Then the injury bug struck for what would be the last time as he suffered another neck injury that required surgery. We got to keep up with what was going on with him thru Total Divas, but this came as a surprise to me. The final thing i will say is i can't wait for him to be inducted into the HOF and THANK YOU Daniel Bryan for all the great memories...
