TRIU Monday Night RAW Review (11/4/13)

Match #1 (Singles Match): CM Punk vs Luke Harper w/Erick Rowand and Brey Wyatt (Winner: CM Punk via PF, Rating: 3.5 of 4): This match was pretty great to watch and was dominated by Harper. Punk of course barley pulls out the victory over Harper with a roll up pin. Something the Wyatt’s don’t like, prompting a post match attack. That leads to Daniel Bryan making the save and leaving Bryan and Punk standing tall…

In Ring Segment #1: Michel Cole does an interview over the phone with Paul Heyman where he talks about the injuries given to him at the Hell in the Cell PPV…

Match #2 (Singles Match): Ryback vs. The Great Khali w/Hornswaggle n Santino (Winner: Ryback via PF, Rating: 2.5 of 4): This was a pretty boring match aside from the parts where Khali dominated the match. After the match Ryback attacked Hornswaggle and Santino to prove the point that he is a bad guy. Also a very bad wrestler…

Match #3 (Singles Match): Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio (Winner: ADR via Sub, Rating: 3.0 of 4): This was a really exciting match to watch. Great follow up after the boring match before it. Del Rio got the classic arm breaker submission after Kofi made us believe he was going to win the match…

Match #4 (Singles Match): © Randy Orton vs. Big E Langston (Winner: Randy Orton via PF, Rating: 4.0 of 4.0): A very well wrestled match by both men and really put Big E on the map in two ways. 1) He could hang in the ring with a multiple time World Champion; 2) He IS a future WWE Champion if I have ever seen one!!...

Match #5 (Mixed Tag Match): Fandango/Summer Rea vs. Natalya/Tyson Kidd (Winner: Tyson Kidd/Natalya via Sub, Rating: 3.0 of 4): Great match, both teamshad their moment and they really played off each other well. It was a great win for Kidd in his return after a few months out of the game…

Match #6 (6-Man Tag Match): © John Cena/© Rhodes Bro vs. Damien Sandow/Real Americans (Winner: Cena/Rhodes Bro via PF, Rating: 4.0 of 4): This match had it all we saw all the finishers. We saw Zeb Colture get hit with Antonio Cesaro and we saw the good guys get the victory. It had all aspects that you need to make a good match and Cena didn’t have to get the pin for that to happen. Golddust finished the match with a Final Cut on Swagger for the win…

Match #7 (Singles Match): Dolph Ziggler vs. © Curtis Axel (Winner: Ziggler via PF, Rating: 3.0 of 4): This was a classic Ziggler match. Very fast paced and a lot of high spots from the Show off. It surprises me with every match I watch why Ziggler doesn’t have a belt around his waist…

Match #8 (Tag Team Match): The USO’s vs. 3MB (Winner: The USO’s via PF, Rating: 3.0 of 4): This match got a 3.0 rating only because the USO’s were in it. They are a very exciting tag team and looked good in this matchup. Overall this was a squash match that saw the USO’s stay hot and keep winning…

Match #9 (6-Diva Tag Team): Eve Marie/ The Bellas vs. Tamina/Aksana/© AJ Lee (Winner: Eva Marie/Bellas via PF, Rating: 2.5 of 4): Another boring match…. The only thing I can really say about it was at least it was over quickly. The WWE really needs to stop showcasing Eva Marie she just needs more work…

In Ring Segment #2: HHH and Stephanie McMahon join the Big Show in the ring to discuss how to settle the multimillion dollar lawsuit he has filed against WWE. Big Show ask for his job back and he gets it. Big Show asked for a WWE Championship Match at Survivor Series, they are then joined by the Shield. HHH say No! So Show walks away and HHH gives the him the match and announces that Shows 1st match back will be a 4 on 1 handicap match…

Match #10 (4 on 1 Handicap Match): Big Show vs. © The Shield/© Randy Orton (Winner: © Orton/ © Shield, Rating 2.0 of 4): This was just a beat down of the Big Show as punishment by HHH and Stephanie. Show had his moments where he fought back. Eventually as Show gets the upper hand Kane comes out in a suit and distracts Show allowing Orton and Co to go to work and get the win…

Overall Rating (3.0 of 4): This was a good RAW to watch if you haven’t been able to catch RAW for a couple of weeks. They recapped the entire Big Show vs. The Authority feud while bringing it to a close and giving you a 10 match card to boot. Not the best RAW I have seen but a good one just the same…

Match of the Night: © Orton vs. Langston (4.0 of 4)….
